Holiday Turnout
Ryan Velez and Mike Thomas scored 3 for 3 to win the Open section. Ryan is nearing 2200 and is planning on playing this Thursday. Try and stop him if you dare.

King’s Island
A large band of Kentucky players have crossed the Ohio River to match wits with a larger region of players. The Continental Chess Association tournaments are considered a good way to evaluate if a particular area’s rating pool is commensurate with the national rating norms. Last year our players demonstrated that local ratings were underrated in comparison to the other areas. Good luck players!
