Louisville Open

Can you identify the player on the left?
The CCA’s Louisville Open produced top quality games with the serious time control of 40 moves in 2 hours and sudden death in 1.  Even the latch on the door was duct taped so that noise was not a distraction to the players.  Crosstables are posted.

Linton - Person 1-0 Monday at Meijer

Linton - Person
It was tumblin time on the old town. Melvin had me awfully ugly with a two pawn advantage and a crushing pair of bishops. But then old Melvin he went and neglected a good old piece of his and I won a bishop for nothin'. Amazingly, even then Rybka likes Melvin - but I proceeded to fry him like a red lobster in a microwave. It was an instructive - and destructive - game overall. I was, of course, white, as I would never be caught dead playing the opening he played as Black. (Yes, I missed 50. Bxf7+, but at least not 51. Bxf7+!)
